Location Recce: St Mary's Church Graveyard, Barnard Castle

Name: St Mary's Cemetery
Description: Small graveyard circling round St Mary's church. This site is the oldest in Barnard castle and has, Victorian-themed street lights and a solid pavement leading round the cemetery.

Access Issues:
This site has 3 separate entrances, one from Newgate which is the main entrance, then a small back alley and a track leading up from The Domains. The entrance that I would use would be the main one leading in from Newgate because it's maintained really well, is lit during the night and is very open from the street. The other two entrances are small dark alleys which hold their own dangers.

Lighting Issues:
There are several lamps dotted around the pavement which provide fairly decent light once it gets dark. However I will be filming about an hour before it's due to get dark, and there is fairly heavy tree cover around most of the graveyard which may cause problems.

Sound:
Although the graveyard is on the main street and there are houses all around the graveyard, this won't be a problem. Any sounds caught whilst filming will be edited out anyway, so this isn't a major issue.
